Talent Acquisition Specialist

Summary Position Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have full responsibility to carry out Talent Acquisition strategies. They will perform full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external vendors. This position will execute staffing strategies, enhance Lannett’s visibility in key recruiting channels and help to establish the company as an employer of choice. The Talent Acquisition specialist will be a strategic resource to hiring managers on all matters related to Talent Acquisition, offering guidance on interviewing and selection processes and providing insight on talent market conditions.

Essential Functions:

  • Work in partnership with hiring managers and the Director of Talent & HR to facilitate the review and approval for hiring requisitions.
  • Manage postings in the Applicant Tracking System and 3rd party sites, source, evaluate, and submit high-quality candidates to hiring managers.
  • Utilize professional networking sites, employee referrals, networking groups and other recruiting sources to attract and find qualified candidates.
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through the interview process to ensure a positive experience for all, consult with managers on selection and respectfully release candidates not selected for openings.
  • Collaborate with HR/Compensation to develop and deliver competitive offers to candidates.
  • Assist selected candidates, hiring managers and talent coordinators through the onboarding process.
  • Conduct post hire check-ins with new employees to ensure they’re transitioning well into their new roles.
  • Leverage professional networking sites, job boards and universities to proactively engage passive talent pools and further enhance the Lannett’s employer brand.
  • Organize company representation for campus and professional level career fairs.
  • Act in a consultative capacity to hiring managers and departmental leaders sharing best practices and insights for talent acquisition strategies.
  • Build functional specific talent pipelines.
  • Perform research and make recommendations for improvements to Talent Acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all Federal, State and Local laws are strictly enforced throughout the recruitment process, stay up to date on changes in employment laws and make recommendations to remain compliant.
  • Assist in gathering AAP talent records and outreach reports to aid in creation of an annual AAP report or in the event of an audit
  • Capture, analyze and report on data-driven recruiting metrics using the applicant tracking system, Excel and PowerPoint.


Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration or a related degree
  • 2 – 4 years of recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting – preferably within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Must possess an ability to work well with a variety of personality types, to motivate those you interact with and take control of processes/situations as needed while maintaining a customer-service focused attitude.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics
  • Experience utilizing professional and social media sites for business exposure
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System - preferably WFN
