SLP Communication Foundations provides the ability for a Special Education Teacher (SWD) to work in a unique setting, while growing professionally, and working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position gives you the flexibility to create your own schedule and work directly with members of your community.

We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide Early Intervention services in the Albany County area.

Job requirements:

• Master's degree in special education
• NYS Certification SWD in Birth to Grade 2 or Birth to All Grades
• 2 years’ experience in Early Childhood Special Education preferred 
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Goal oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and utilize technology
