Language Essentials is Hiring a Client Services Administrative Specialist (FT) Near San Ramon, CA
A dynamic, speech pathology and occupational therapy practice in San Ramon, Livermore and Tracy is seeking a full-time, experienced, full-time Client Services Administrative Specialist. Our ideal candidate We are looking for a motivated energetic, friendly, and flexible individual. The ability to multi-task throughout the day is essential. Communication and Organization will be the key to this position. Only candidates that are qualified and seriously interested in a long-term position need apply.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Answer and screen incoming phone calls, take and give messages in a timely manner.
Accurately processing patient registration and insurance information, including data entry into EMR.
Upfront collection of co-payments, deductibles and existing balances.
Obtain eligibility verifications. (PPO & HMO)
Follow up and follow through with new clients.
Provide clients with an explanation of their benefits.
Timely communications and updates to all clientele.
Assist in maintain therapist schedules.
Provide weekly and monthly statistics to management.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Light housekeeping.
Qualifications:
A warm, patient, and engaging personality.
Multitask oriented – the ability to juggle and work on multiple items.
Highly organized – be able to keep track of multi-step processes and modify as needed.
Excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility – tasks and priorities are constantly changing.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe)
Problem solver – use available resources, develop new processes, and become the expert!
Initiative and follow through are key for successful candidates.
Two plus years of experience.
Excellent attendance.
Prior insurance knowledge and experience a plus.
Electronic medical record (EMR) systems experience a plus.
Understanding and adherence to HIPAA policies and procedures.
