About Us : Delfina provides a leading pregnancy care data platform to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Our BD Lead will join our Clinical and Growth teams to visit with physicians, nurses, and practice managers at potential clinical partner locations. Our BD Lead is someone whohas excellent sales, problem solving, organization and communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Responsibilities :

• Reach out to potential clinical partner locations, focused on the Houston metropolitan area
• Complete in-person visits to potential sites to explain Delfina as a product and process and help generate excitement among clinical support staff
• Complete virtual or in-person follow-ups with potential clinical partner locations and answer basic questions relating to the Delfina Care platform

Requirements :

• 2 years of experience in a business development role, healthcare preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational and documentation skills and attention to detail
• Independent and creative mindset to sales outreach
• In-person visits to Houston locations required, fully remote for administrative tasks
• Commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months

Compensation : The compensation range for this contract position in the United States is $25-40 per hour with significant performance-based commission options. Expense reimbursement and a per diem rate are also included for travel to clinic sites. While this range represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training, new hires who meet most of the requirements above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
