You will provide guidance and training to staff to ensure complex operations are carried out in a productive manner. You will lead by example and ensure all necessary government regulations are complied with in a timely manner. Your ability to ensure productivity measures are met while fostering a culture focused on quality and accountability will help ensure the team’s success. Essential Responsibilities: Coach and mentor employees by providing regular feedback and trainingMaintain effective workflow such as various queries, email boxes, faxes, DVIRs, Carb and FSMACollaborate and communicate with other departments within LandstarObserve phone calls for accuracy of informationPrepare weekly and monthly reports for departmentAssist in auditing equipment and operator files for accuracy and Driver Remedial/Termination of leaseDownload inspections daily from FMCSA PortalHandle escalated calls from Operators, Agents and other departments within Landstar Participate in group presentations to Agents, Operators and Employees. Assist in Audits by Regulatory AgentsMonitor Vendor Invoices in Palette for payment Required Minimum Experience and Education:Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent experience 1 year of transportation industry experience Preferred Experience and Education:1 year of direct supervisory experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Efficient in Microsoft Office Analytical problem solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSuperb interpersonal skillsProfessional demeanorGood organizational skills
