A large Christian College in Pensacola needs full-time Bindery Workers to join their team. You will be assisting in the manufacture of Star30 and Pantera perfect binders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for regular full-time work with a great college that provides pay increases over time for eligible employees.
What you’ll be doing to make an impact:

• Able to load printed copies into pockets while checking for any damage or bad product and verify that the loads are loaded in the correct pocket
• Ensuring covers are fanned and free from any defects and verified facing the correct direction
• Inspect all finished books coming out of the stacker and place an appropriate quantity in the shipping box
• Send box through the machine for taping
• Take boxes from the conveyer and place them into appropriate staking patterns on pallets
• Loading books into the hopper, clearing jams from the discharge pipe, taking stacked books from the stacker, and carefully placing the loose-leaf product onto pallets

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience working in a commercial print shop or one-year binding
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with long periods on your feet
• Able to give full attention to detail and work to a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills including following instructions

• Starting wage of $14/Hour
• Wage increases over time
• Contract position
• Steady, regular hours Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 3:45 pm
