Certified Medical Coder
The Woodlands Medical Specialists in Pensacola is looking for a full-time Certified Medical Coder to relay the most positive and professional image possible to patients visiting this growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with superior communication and customer service skills to join a supportive and friendly company. What you’ll be doing to make an impact:
  • Accurately account for all charges on assigned division’s daily schedules.
  • Post all charges for assigned division(s)
  • Respond to coding review emails from AR staff.
  • Run and work weekly missing ticket reports to ensure all charges are posted.
  • Work directly with physicians, administration, and management to provide accurate coding of services.
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPC Certification
  • At least one year of prior physician office billing experience in Primary Care and/or Urology is preferred
  • Display a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multi-task
  • Work independently
What’s in it for you:
  • For this position, starting pay is starting at $20/hour, depending on experience
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
