LandrumHR is Hiring a Marketing & Business Development Specialist Near Pensacola, FL
- Assist in the planning, management, and communication of marketing/advertising/brand projects where design is regarded and project management is required
- Proactively contribute to company’s business development brainstorming and efforts
- Communicate effectively, develop relationships and work with outside vendors and business partners; assist in a professional and welcoming, proactive manner
- Assist with updates within the company’s website
- Communicate effectively and efficiently all assigned project updates and details to Chief Marketing Officer
- Assist staff with any company (internal) projects and material as needed
- Ensure all projects are completed by assigned deadline, are of the highest quality of work and to the end users’ and the company’s satisfaction
- Represent at conventions and business fairs, and actively sell products and services.
- Make calls to business contacts to schedule in-person presentations.
- Meet with decision makers at their place of business to demonstrate how the company can benefit their employees.
- Assist with sponsorships to ensure that they support the company’s goals. Represent at sponsor functions, trade shows, and on-site table days.
- Ensure public relations and marketing activities create positive member, prospective member, and community responses.
- Resolve requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally. Ensure communications are efficient and effective.
- Organize public relations information for management.
- Develop relevant content topics, create and distribute press releases to reach the company’s target members.
- Execute social media activities while maintaining a solid brand. Create engaging and professional visuals and customize social media content.
- Support efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review on a daily basis.
- High school graduate college or relevant trade education & graduation.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Additional marketing and public relations training preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Marketing.
- Understanding of public relations and media processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized.
- Attentive to detail.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Driving will be required and is generally limited to 25 miles of branch locations.
- Excellent driving record must be maintained.
- This position pays $18-21/hour depending on experience
- Schedule is Monday through Friday
