2nd Shift Assembler

An excellent company focused on the creation of renewable wind energy is looking to hire an enthusiastic person to start their career in Manufacturing as an entry-level Assembler. • Responsible for performing module assembly operations using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Assembling of engine modules utilizing various tools, fixtures, and equipment
• Working from complex product drawings, manuals, specifications and other company / customer specifications
• Inspecting finished product and identify defects
• Setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting all tools and equipment used in the assembly processes
• Utilizing precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
• Demonstrating a high aptitude for mechanical ability
• Exactly follow written instructions and diagrams to achieve the required outcome
• Communicating effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal, at all level
• Building and promoting a culture based on safe work practices and compliance
• Demonstrating flexibility in daily responsibilities including work area

What you’ll bring to the job:

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or construction experience is preferred
• Commitment to working safely and wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment, including safety boots
• Ability to lift/carry at least 20 pounds
• Ability to push/pull at least 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a tobacco free environment
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends

What’s in it for you:

• Starting wage of $17/hour
• 10-hour work days, 2nd shift is 3:00pm-1:30am
