WALL COLMONOY is Hiring a Maintenance Technician III Near Albuquerque, NM
Overview: Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance to equipment and buildings. Prioritize tasks to prevent and reduce downtime. May work non-standard hours depending on business conditions. Works under moderate supervision. Essential Functions:
- Observe, inspect, install, maintain, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and reassemble production equipment in a safe manner.
- Resolve safety concerns related to production machines and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform PM's as required
- Possess working knowledge in pipe fitting, masonry, welding, construction, basic electricity, motors, mechanical power transmission, HVAC, and equipment cooling systems.
- Communicate with coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical trouble shooting procedures.
- Read and understand equipment manuals and OEM procedures.
- Meet all federal, state, and local inspection requirements.
- Keep various maintenance records, reports, and inspections current.
- Attend meetings, training sessions and committees when requested.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
- Must have 5 years minimum maintenance experience with some construction trade experience.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
- Have physical dexterity to descend into pits by climbing up/down vertical wall ladders, climb onto roof tops using conventional ladders, work on scaffolding 20 feet high, must lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to worktable height, carry 50 lbs. up/down ladders within cramped and/or confined spaces.
- Working hours - 1st or 2nd shift but may require non-standard hours to support business demands.
