Job Description:

Landmark 24 Homes is Savannah’s largest award-winning local builder and the 116th largest builder in the US. We build new construction single family and multi-family homes in the best locations in the greater Savannah area, Brunswick, GA, Kingsland, GA, and Hardeeville, SC areas. The Savannah area is growing and so are we with over 350 homes being built a year. Landmark 24 Homes is seeking a highly skilled CAD Operator to be a part of our award-winning team.

This position performs a variety of duties related to the design of our homes. The successful candidate will work under our CAD and Procurement Managers.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to

• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Assisting with layout and design work for a production builder with over 30 floor plans
• Preparing site plans and lot fits

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of four years of experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Must be able to learn to make and read drawings and sketches.
• Must have proficient technical knowledge and skills, such as mathematics, and be able to handle difficult and multiple design assignments.
• Two or more years with design experience desired.
• Basic knowledge or experience in production homebuilding.
• Competent in computer/windows-based applications and possesses the ability to learn new software programs.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job which may include walking in various types of environments; long periods of sitting at computer; and other moderate physical activity.

Education and Requirements:

• Minimum two years of practical experience in design/drafting/ AutoCAD work is required.
• Valid Drivers License and Clean driving history
• Minimum two year degree required. Bachelors degree desired. Associates degree with related experience will also be considered.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
