• Charge Nurse responsible for leadership of all Landis Homes staff on duty during his/her working hours.
• Responds to emergency calls from residents, manages staffing issues as they occur (call-offs, suddenillnesses while on the job, no shows, etc.) and assists with regular staffing shortages on a more long-term basis.
• Holds staff accountable for care given to residents in accordance with established LandisHomes' policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines.
• Functions on behalf of LandisHomes administration and intervenes in any situation requiring supervisory input and decision-making,exercising good judgment in knowing when to consult with appropriate off-duty management and/orhealthcare professionals, such as resident physicians.

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or an RN licensed byanother state as an RN and who has applied for endorsement from the State Board of Nursing and hasreceived written notice that the application has been received by the State Board of Nursing. Thisapplies for 1 year, or until Commonwealth licensure is completed, whichever period is shorter.
• Has and maintains current CPR certification.
• Experience in nursing service administration and supervision and in areas such as Rehabilitative orGeriatric Nursing required.
• Able to work independently, well-organized, and can multi-task.
• Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
• Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrates leadership, management skills, dependability and a positive demeanor
