Landesign Services, Inc. is Hiring a Land Survey Technician Near Liberty, TX

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team in Liberty Hill, TX or Kyle/Buda, TX. Preference will be given to candidates proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and Trimble Business Center.

Duties:

  • Process and refine raw field data
  • Prepare parcel plats and parcel descriptions
  • Prepare Digital Terrain Models
  • Collect and analyze data to establish property boundaries, elevations, and other relevant information
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, including maps, drawings, and legal descriptions
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results
  • Utilize software programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation to process survey data
  • Perform calculations using trigonometry, geometry, and algebra to determine distances, angles, and areas
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during survey operations

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
  • Proficiency in using surveying software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Familiarity with GPS technology for accurate positioning
  • Ability to interpret schematics, maps, and legal descriptions
  • Excellent mathematical skills for calculations in trigonometry and geometry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis
