Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, friendly and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing exceptional patient care. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, applying sealants, and administering anesthesia

- Provide chairside assistance by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining clear visibility for the dentist

- Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions

- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff

- Assist with dental laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required

- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft is a plus

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and procedures

- Familiarity with iTero technology for digital impressions is desirable
