Intermediate Administrative Coordinator 1

Part-Time: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 Hours a week)

Pay: $21.50

Purina Animal Nutrition is looking for a dynamic Administrative Assistant to work in our Lincoln, Nebraska, location. The ideal applicant possesses excellent customer service skills, maturity, integrity, and strong attention to detail. Successful candidates prioritize attendance and are reliable and punctual. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor are also essential.

This position is benefit-eligible for 30 hours per week (6 hours/day, M-F).

Standard job focuses include:
Prepare documents necessary for the warehouse to fill orders
Work with transportation to ensure plant-to-plant deliveries are timely
Process truck loading and unloading paperwork
Answer phones and direct phone calls
Process payroll
Assist in monthly inventory cycle counts (One Saturday a month)
Arrange and plan company outings and events
Oversee yearly uniform ordering process
Communicate with a diverse group of people from a variety of departments
Order office, janitorial, and safety supplies

Skills required:
Solid Microsoft Office skills
Excellent typing and computer skills
Critical reasoning skills
Excellent organization and strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with many different types of people

Excellent attendance
Professional, friendly demeanor
Team oriented attitude
Self-starter/Self-motivated

Experience-Education (Required):
High school diploma/GED

Competencies-Skills (Required):
Proficiency with the MS Office suite of programs.
Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.
High level of initiative for problem resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
Ability to work with teams cross-functionally.
Detail oriented.

Experience-Education (Preferred):
At least one year of experience in administrative or customer service is desired but not required
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
Experience with accounts payables in a manufacturing /warehouse environment preferred. Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle
Well-developed time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to communicate in a variety of methods and with a variety of personalities
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Ability to deal with a changing/evolving environment
