Wellington, FL: Full-Time/Year-Round: Seeking an experienced, dependable, and trustworthy Horse Farm Manager for a 45-acre, 90-stall dressage horse farm to oversee all facilities and daily operations. Must have hands-on experience maintaining a large horse farm with the ability to operate farm equipment and do general repairs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Manage the horse farm and supervise employees, with oversight and maintenance of the facility, staff, and equipment

· Develop and implement horse farm policies and procedures

· Organize staff scheduling and responsibilities

· Order supplies; maintain inventory

· Interact regularly with equine professionals, vendors, and boarders of horses

· Periodically inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety and sanitary hazards and initiate immediate or preventive maintenance measures

· Assure adherence to Federal, State, and local laws and regulations concerning human and animal health, safety, and sanitation.

· Implement and maintain security measures to prevent theft and vandalism

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience in horse farm management
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of power equipment and machinery
• Ability to use hand tools
• Handle horses with care and ensure their well-being
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; bilingual capability in Spanish a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
• A valid Driver’s License
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Flexibility and willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Horse Farm Manager with maintenance experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling
• Must be physically able to operate power equipment
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
