Job Description :

The welder must successfully complete the required welding test, specific to type, material and position which allows the welder.

• Daily tasks include Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb, frequently lift and / or move up to pounds unassisted and up to pounds with assistance.
• You will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products.
• You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
• Our production floor comprises of a host of different crafts, each with their respective duties, and types of expertise.
• You will be a key team member responsible for performing the qualified welds with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
• Read and follow standard work, BOM’s, blueprints, routings, specifications, and other diagrams / instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Handle material, tools, and equipment manually or with jib crane, performing own hitching as required
• Consistently maintains level of productivity as determined by management.

Required :

• High school degree or equivalent.
• years in custom build shop preferred
• Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.
• Ability to read, understand blueprints and interpret D prints / schematics to complete standard work.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.
• Layout, cut and fit parts as required to weld in place.
• FCAW and GMAW experience are required.
• Stainless steel experience a plus.
