Job Description :
Title : Forklift Operator
Location : Milwaukee, WI 53204 United States
Timing : 8 : 00 Am to 5 : 00 Pm
Contract : 0-4 Months (Temp to Engage)
Responsibilities :
No covid restrictions.
Looking for someone with warehouse experience in shipping and receiving and fork truck experience.
The CW will be responsible for Shipping and Receiving of customers' packages.
driving fork driving to load and unload.
Material handling. There is extensive lifting, standing, and walking required in this role.
No driving is required. Forklift training is required so Package C will need ran.
Dress code is Jeans (no holes), polos (no graphic t-shirts). no sleeveless attire, comfortable shoes. Warehouse attire.
The worksite address is 1201 S 2ND ST, Milwaukee, WI 53204, and parking on the street is available.
Qualification :
- Previous forklift certification for Reach, Dock stocker or sit-down forklift.
- RF scanner experience.
- Must have excellent math, reading comprehension skills and the ability to write legibly
- Minimum of two years warehouse experience with one year of stand-up (Reach, Dock stocker) forklift experience.
- Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks that will require significant, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and safely lifting to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
Team lifts for items over 50lbs.
- Must have the ability to take direction and complete all work assignments as instructed within established timelines.
- Must be a team player and could work and interact with fellow co-workers.
- High degree of attention to detail and environment to prevent injury to others and property damage, Promoting a safe work environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks that will require significant, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and safely lifting to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
Team lifts for items over 50lbs.
- Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
