The Sales Assistant/General Labor will perform general administrative and labor activities for the sales department. This position will be responsible for the safe moving of small and large commercial vans to and from Commercial Van Solutions and various customers in the region. The Sales Assistant/General Labor will help the sales staff in writing orders and answering/placing phone calls to customers regarding their vehicle upfitting. This role will inspect all incoming customer vehicles for damage and do a pre-delivery quality inspection on completed vehicles.

Job Duties Include:

• Picks up and Delivers customer vehicles in the 4 state region.
• Inspects customer vehicles upon arrival and pre-delivery inspection upon completion.
• Assists sales department in writing customer sales orders in the computer systems.
• Answers multi-line telephone systems and refers calls accordingly.
• Interacts appropriately with internal/external customers.
• Provides information to the public and customer by mail, email and telephone.
• General office duties, including filing, copying, scanning, etc.
• Provides administrative assistance to other departments as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing personality.
• Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees.
• Ability to drive full-size vans.
• Use good judgement and safe driving skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check.\

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
