Job Title: Adjunct Professor

Status: Part time/Exempt

Reports to: Department Chair

Job Summary:

Adjunct faculty exist to teach and mentor students as scholars and/or subject matter experts in their chosen career. Adjunct faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties. The music composition adjunct faculty member will teach applied lessons and courses in music composition and technology.

Education and Experience:

• Creativity and innovation in musical composition and technology
• A minimum of a masters degree from an accredited institution
• Higher education teaching experience preferred
