Description

Hourly pay range is $22.00 to $28.00 (based on experience).

The Photographer will be responsible for all aspects of photography within the Lancaster Archery Supply brand families. The Photographer will conceptualize and produce creative product stills and lifestyle photography that will be leveraged to support sales, marketing, and engagement initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses expertise and skill to capture professional, high-quality images.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and team members to plan and execute visually appealing photography.
  • Actively track timelines and proactively communicate to ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
  • Produce imagery that will be used in various outlets, including print and digital media.
  • Stays up to date with technical and visual trends.
  • Uses different techniques with photo equipment and photo manipulation software to re-touch and edit images to ensure that desired results are obtained.
  • Shoot in different photo locations or environments (outdoor/indoor).
  • Utilize Smart Sheet tool to track keeping digital content up to date.
  • Attendance at select on-site events, ability to travel to some local offsite events.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with a wide range of camera technology (Canon professional cameras, SLRs).
  • Experience with digital technology leading editing software (Preferably Adobe Suite).
  • Ability to work with our Photo Bench to create product images for our website.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various departments, primarily Marketing, to achieve desired imagery.
  • Ability to use strobe flash in multiple situations or environments.
  • Attention to detail with stock photography styling.
  • Direct and stylize product/lifestyle shoots independently or with the team.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of photography that reflects creativity as well as composition skills and lighting skills.
  • Minimum Education: high school diploma or equivalent. BS / BA degree in Digital Photography/ Marketing or related field is a plus.
  • Available to work select weekends and adhere to select company Blackout dates dependent upon company event schedule.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the outdoor or archery industry is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
  • Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom
  • Experience in an editorial environment
  • Experience in a video/photo studio environment
  • Working knowledge of PC operating systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • File management organization and time management skills
  • Experience in marketing and communications a plus

The physical requirements for this job function are as follows:

  • May be required to kneel, squat, walk or stand for extended periods to capture images
  • Must be able to climb and descend ladders
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to push up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to pull up to 25 pounds
