**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, to implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Staff for this position are required to become Registered Behavior Technicians. Paid training provided as needed. Additional pay given when RBT certification complete.
Position looking for staff to work in and around the Lexington MA area. This position will likely include providing services to underserved military children and families.
**Duties:**
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment plans
- Assist in the assessment of client progress
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and care plans
- Understanding of special education principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
