Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Application Engineer located in Charlotte, NC. The Application Engineer will be responsible for performing a multitude of tasks, including sales, technical support for the inside and outside sales team, product development, maintenance, and improvement, 3D modelling, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Technical support, mechanical design experience, and testing skills
• Ability to read and modify dimensional and sectional view drawings
• Ability to use 2D and 3D modelling software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and/or Inventor)
• Self-motivated person with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Sales support, regularly assisting outside sales team and interacting with new and existing customers to maintain and increase sales
• Ability to use CRM and ERP Systems to maintain customer relations, complete quotations, and follow the sales process from beginning to end
• Ability to work independently and as part of a local and international team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with planetary gearboxes, planetary winches, and/or hydraulics (motors, pumps, valves, schematics) is a desirable attribute, but not required
