• Support the purchasing team on spend analysis and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Mirror the RMA process and identify cost savings opportunities and provide solution and perform to deliver cost savings.
• Work on daily receiving task per the vendors packing list to support Receiving supervisor.
• Support supply chain and IT to implement Nutech scanner project.
• Understand the cycle count process and identify Top 3 area to be improved with inventory supervisor.
• Support on cleaning all reject invoices with the reason of “Non receipt” in daily basis for Houston and all branches.
• KPI development and reporting on receiving accuracy.
• Identify Top 3 challenges in Receiving area and provide feasible solution with cost budget.
• Support Production planner to smooth processes and build dashboard for daily performance on production planning fulfill rate.
• Assist with VP of Global Sourcing to Identify top risks area in each unit to eliminate the risk and provide feasible solutions to ensure production plan will be performed.
• Work with sales and buyers on drop shipping process and identify risks to improve.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Education

• Actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain

Work Experience

• Minimal experience in a supply chain internship, or basic understanding of the supply chain department a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Compensation for the Summer Internship is $25/hour.
