Library Aide Position35 hours/week from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm during the student school year The Library Aide works under the direct supervision of the Library Director. The successful candidate must enjoy and be competent working with high school and middle school students in a busy, welcoming, technological library. Primary responsibilities include supervising students with basic classroom management and basic library operations, including student/patron interactions, basic research with physical and virtual resources, locating books and other materials for study and/or for recreational reading, circulation, processing new books, and managing periodicals. This position also includes management of the A/V collection and the instruction on how to use the equipment. Computer skills are required. Library experience is a plus but not a requirement.
