Waterville Elementary School is looking for an academic interventionist for the intermediate grades 4-6. The ideal candidate will: *have knowledge of and experience with the Common Core and VT Standards in literacy and math*have a strong understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards*have success in building a strong classroom community of learners and forming positive relationships with students, teammates and parents*have knowledge and experience with a variety of intervention techniques, programs and resources*have knowledge of using MAPS and Fastbridge and interpreting that data*facilitating PLC meetings*have positive classroom management techniques*have experience using formative assessments to drive instruction*have successful experience working collaboratively with a team of educators*approach instruction with flexibility, high expectations and creativity*value parent communication and involvement*possess the appropriate VT educator license*bring a positive energy to the school and team*have knowledge/experience with culturally responsive pedagogy*Bridges mathematics program*Responsive classroom, PBIS, Restorative Practices
