About the Unit/Department/Team

We are a critical access hospital with a nine bed Emergency Department. Our ED admitting desk is staffed 24/7 and the ED HUC/Admitting clerk supports the ED and the entire health system.

To support the Emergency Department and health system to provide personalized, quality care to each patient, every time.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide customer service to internal and external customers at Lakewood
2. Multitask with clerical duties including, but not limited to phone, registration, paging
3. Maintain professional patient and system confidentiality

Position Type

This position is part-time with shifts from 6:00am 2:00pm or 2:00pm 10:00pm, with the ability to pick up additional shifts as they are available. Will include shifts at the ED admitting desk to support the ED and health system, as well as weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

1. High school graduate/GED
2. Computer literacy
3. Customer service experience
4. Effective communication in written and oral communication
