Overview:

Job Responsibilities: (Banquet Server)

As a server you are responsible for the set-up, service, clean-up and tear down of banquet events.

• Set tables, buffets, bars and snack breaks in assigned area accordingly to events specifications.
• Professionally serve food and beverages, butler-style, tableside and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets and breaks to keep them clean, stocked and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a exceptional service that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
• Be an ambassador of Lakewood Country Club by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any requests or concerns.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Always exhibit professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in serving. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality customer service. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities: (Bartender)

• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to guests at the bar
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly

Requirements: Previous experience in bartending or a related role preferred. Knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail mixing techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly manner. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Understanding of health and safety regulations. TIPS Certification in responsible alcohol service or similar certification is a plus.

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy trays or equipment. Flexibility in scheduling is also important as events occur during evenings, and weekends. You must be available to work Sundays day and evenings and holidays.
