6AM-2PM Shift, Monday-Friday
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language, and science
- Foster social and emotional development through play and interaction
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
- Plan and supervise physical education activities for children
- Collaborate with parents to support their child's educational journey
Experience:
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children, required
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with childacare regulations and licensing requirements
- Ability to engage and connect with children on an individual level
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with parents and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
-DCF 40 Hour Training, required
- Background check clearance
