Lakeville Areas Schools is seeking creative, adaptive individuals to join our Kid Zone team! We are looking for experienced Paraprofessionals to provide support to elementary aged children with disabilities in our before and after school programs. Our school district values innovation and collaboration and is highly sought after by families and staff. 

Job responsibilities include:

• Work one-on-one or in a group of students with disabilities to ensure inclusion and participation in all planned activities 
• Foster social and emotional development, physical activity, and creativity through projects and extra curricular activities 
• Communicate directly with students and school personnel
• Communicate issues to program instructor/supervisor as needed 

Pay and schedule:

• Competitive pay up to $19.90 per hour, based on experience
• Possibility to work before school, after school, or all day program
• Participate in field trips on non-school days

Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience working with students with disabilities
• Ability to adapt, learn, and change processes if needed
