As a Assistant with the Summer Adventures summer program you will assist the program Instructor in caring for and supervising children as well as helping implement a daily curriculum.
Position Descriptions/Qualifications

• Works directly with and supervises large and small groups of children in planned activities throughout a variety of settings, such as: classroom, cafeteria, gym, computer lab, playground and while on field trips.
• Ability to work independently, exercise mature judgment and manage children’s behavior in a positive manner.
• High school diploma plus Associates degree or experience working with children in a child care or school setting
• Ages 18 and up
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification

Schedule/ Hours

• Workshop & Set Up - June 7, 2024
• Program Dates - June 10 through August 23, 2024. Closed June 19, July 4 & 5
• 8 hours per day. Shift start and end times vary by building

Locations

• Lake Marion Elementary (2 positions available)
• Oak Hills Elementary (4 positions available)
• Christina Huddleston Elementary (1 position available)
• Cherry View Elementary (2 positions available)

Salary

• $15.00 - $20.31 per hour depending on experience
