Job Description:

What we’re looking for in you

Required:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• MN RN license with regular renewal
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification required from AHA
• PALS/ENPC certification required upon completion of orientation (or within one year of start date)
• TNCC certification required within one year of start date if not present at hire

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

The skills/experience you bring as a Registered Nurse - ED

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience. (If no prior acute care nursing experience, may consider 5 or more years of paramedic experience)

Preferred:

• Previous experience in an Emergency Center environment
• Previous related critical care experience

The purpose of the Registered Nurse - ED

As a Registered Nurse - ED you will manage and provide direct and indirect nursing care. This position is responsible for the direction and supervision of ancillary personnel assigned to patients. This position utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in an orderly, systematic approach to meet the changing needs of patients across the life span.
