Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service department

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues

- Communicate with service technicians to obtain repair estimates and timelines

- Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance

- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle

- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and maintenance

- Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts

- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions

- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service received

Requirements:

- Previous 2 years experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or in automotive service is preferred

- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
