Registered Nurses (RN) - Perioperative - Full-Time

Lakeside Dental Surgery Center is seeking Perioperative Registered Nurses for our Pediatric Dental Surgery Center. The Perioperative Registered Nurse will assist in Pre-op and PACU and cross-train to circulate as well. You will provide your clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive safe, high-quality care in the Ambulatory Surgical environment.

This position will ensure all medical, dental, and surgical equipment and supplies are available. Additionally, this position will work together with the entire nursing team to achieve the best patient outcomes. Collaboration is key to working directly with the Director of Nursing to ensure all patient needs are met.

Perioperative Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities

· Assess, plan, evaluate and intervene as needed in the care of patients throughout the surgical experience.

· Assist the OR team as needed.

· Maintain and review patient records for completion and compliance.

· Administer medications per orders as needed.

Perioperative Registered Nurse Requirements and Qualifications

· Must be a licensed Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.

· Nursing diploma required.

· Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred.

· Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications

· Prior relevant experience in an ASC setting preferred.
