Part-Time Associate Job Description:

If you enjoy gifts and apparel, and love a fast-paced environment, read on! The ideal candidate for this role will be excited to work in a retail space assisting customers with their selections of custom Lake Norman clothing and gifts for themselves or their friends and family. Plus, you’ll enjoy participating in the production aspect of the business, applying your tendencies toward efficiency and detail to help with the embroidery, heat transfer, and other aspects of the business. Responsibilities:

This role includes both retail and production throughout each day. And of course, you’ll be receiving the training that will help you be successful in the role.

Retail – Front End

• Delivering exceptional customer service to our guests as they shop and check out.
• Keeping the store clean & organized ex: straightening shirts and shelves, re-stocking, folding, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms.
• Facilitating customers through the custom apparel process, recognizing which application would best suit their needs and guiding them through what items we offer.
• Making and answering calls to and from customers.

Production – Back End

• Assisting with cleaning embroidery after production. Comfortable using scissors and lighters.
• Weeding vinyl and subsequently heat pressing designs onto shirts or applying vinyl decals to items. Comfortable using picks, xacto knives, and a hot heat press.
• Accurately checking in deliveries.
• Dropping off or picking up orders from our screen printer less than 2 miles away.
• Other organizational tasks, as needed and beneficial for the company

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.
• Rotating Saturdays required. (9-5)
• Ability to work by yourself.

Lakeside Custom Tee’s and Embroidery specializes in creating custom apparel and merchandise for business, events, teams, etc. This includes embroidery, screen printing, and heat transfer applications where we guide the customer to their best option. Our business is unique in that we have both a production side and a retail side operating simultaneously. As a growing business, this is a fast-paced and fun environment!

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
