Rate of Pay: $19.50Work Hours: Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 4:00pm Location: 5550 W 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268 As our Forklift Operator 1 you will: Operate Forklift equipment, to move materials and finished productsScan containers to ensure system accuracyInspect your forklift on a daily basis and service the batteriesProcess departmental paperworkUse a computer to utilize the internal company COMN system for job informationReceive training to help advance your career Required Skills: Must be skilled in handling controls for starting, stopping, backings, and driving fork lift or clamp truck through aisles in building, up and down ramps, and in and out of railroad cars, trucks, etc.; and, for lifting, lowering, and tilting forks by moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate controlsMust be able to recognize whether the fork lift truck is able to lift the load and whether the load is properly balancedAbility to stand for the entire duration of your shiftAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
