Job Description: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Location: Augusta, KS, 67010

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department. The ADON will supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide leadership and support to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in the hiring and training of nursing staff

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in the state of Kansas

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
