Lakefield Veterinary Group is Hiring a Customer service rep Near Apple Valley, MN

South Metro Animal Emergency Care is an AAHA accredited 24 / 7 emergency care facility that is part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group.

We are looking for team members that have a passion for veterinary medicine as well as client service and are willing to be a part of this growing and changing team.

We are currently looking for team members to join us on full-time or part-time for evening shifts (5pm-2am). Some holiday and weekend hours will be required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Welcoming pets and their families and creating a comforting environment.
  • Precise and dedicated client service and follow through.
  • Emergency triage over the phone and in person.
  • Client check-in and record management.
  • Client check-out and working with clients on payment options such as CareCredit and ScratchPay.
  • Handling difficult conversations about finances with respect to the clients.
  • Anticipate client's needs, provide information, and compassion.
  • General clean-up of lobby, exam rooms, and entrance area.
  • The ability to assist clients through difficult times, such as euthanasias.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of one years' experience working in a client focused role in a veterinary practice.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive, productive way.
  • Works well with the team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within veterinary medicine.
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional service.
