Hours: After hours on-call 125.5 hours per month, maximum one week per month as scheduled (includes weekend on-call). Daytime office hours prn.

Qualifications:

• Licensure in the state of Florida to practice professional nursing and certification in advanced or specialized pediatrics or family medicine nursing practice.
• Experience in the evaluation and treatment of child abuse and neglect or agree to receive training deemed necessary by the department for evaluating alleged abuse and neglect.
• Upon hire, obtain CMS approved physician extender.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations regarding abused and neglected children.
• Prepare medical reports of evaluations in CPTIS.
• Provide depositions and court testimony.
• Participate in after hours on call, as scheduled.
• Successful completion of a minimum of eight hours of training per year in child abuse, abandonment, and neglect.

Pay: $1,380.50 per month
