What Are We Looking For?

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a dedicated, professional Manager of Hospital Information Management (HIM) and Privacy. The desired individual will have 3 years minimum in the field of managing HIPAA information and compliance.

The Manager of Hospital Information Management (HIM) and Privacy will have the responsibility of ensuring HIPAA compliance with privacy practices is followed by the Lake Regional team. In addition, this individual will be responsible for remaining current with applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards while monitoring advancements in information to ensure organization adaptation and compliance.

Education and certification requirements are a Bachelor’s degree paired with a RHIA or RHIT certification. A Master’s degree is preferred for this role. Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws, access, release of information and release control technology is highly preferred.
