Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads and hot food items.
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and display cases with fresh deli products
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of deli items
- Assist with restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of the deli department

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred
- Basic math skills for calculating weights and measures
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
