The Assisted Living Sales Consultant will work with our Chiref Community Advocate and the Executive Director to promote our high-acuity Residential Assisted Living mission, goals, and philosophy for our 38 locations in North Texas, specifically in our Dallas area. Responsibilities include development and promotion of programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources to find appropriate placements for potential Residents of our Small Type B full-service Assisted Living and Memory Care 8-16 person Residential Care Homes.
Desired: Experience in the health care arena working with high acuity seniors preferred. Excellent interpersonal outreach and organizational skill. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay, and professional public, the Governing Body, and the Clinical staff for health assessments. Sensitivity to issues of loss and grief; Requires ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all times; Reliable transportation; Works under a variety of conditions from home, in the field, and in facilities; Ability to work flexible schedule and to travel locally; Some exposure to unpleasant weather
Key Functions:
Establishes a public relations program to foster good working relations with placement services, physicians and community agencies;
Coordinate with referral source/patient/caregiver/IDG in the referral/admission process.
Educate patient/family/caregiver of clinical value of our Residential Care homes;
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state, and federal laws relating to the operations of the Assisted Living Small Type B facilities
