Nursing Services Director Responsibilities:

• As the Nursing Services Director, you will supervise all nursing staff.
• You will plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• You will oversee the nursing department schedule and staffing requirements.
• You will oversee department budgets.
• You will communicate with doctors, consumers, and family members about the consumers' medical health.
• You will implement new procedures and train nursing department members on policies and procedures.
• You will work in collaboration with the mental health team in the formulation of an interdisciplinary treatment plan, which shall include identification of nursing care needs.

Nursing Services Director Qualifications:

• 2 years experience as a Nursing Service Director in a specialized menatal health rehabilitaion facility or a DON/ADON in long-term care, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare).
• Ability to build rapport with consumers, family, and staff.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
