Summary of Responsibilities:
Interact with Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson's customers in person, by phone, and through e-mail in a professional and knowledgeable sales capacity. Each associate is responsible for providing our customers with the highest level of customer service in regard to their Harley-Davidson needs in an effort to enhance their personal motorcycling experience. Associates expected to perform at top level creating a premium retail environment. Our associates are involved in factory educational programs, sales & best practices training, feature & benefit customization techniques, routine inventory maintenance practices, and department house cleaning.
Major Duties for General Merchandise Associate:
*Retail Sales of General Merchandise
*Design displays for merchandise, which are appealing to customers.
*Maintain an accurate up-to-date inventory management
*Maintain procedures for receiving, displaying, selling and restocking all merchandise.
*Grow the volume of General Merchandise sales.
*Learn, understand, and utilizing the company's operating system and its programs to facilitate customer transactions, product research, and inventory maintenance practices.
*Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
*5 years progressive experience with retail sales and inventory management.
*Prefer knowledge and experience of Harley-Davidson Merchandise, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
*Experience in shipping materials and supplies, accessing information on the computer, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
*Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand and learn new Harley-Davidson Products.
*Experience with computers necessary. Ability to learn new software and systems must be demonstrated.
*A strong aptitude towards organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent customer service and communications skills.
*Team player.
*Follow directions and work with focus and determination.
*Utilize good communication skills.
*Complete all training programs by required deadlines as assigned by Management.
*Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
*Ability to accept and follow directions.
*Demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours. Weekend work required.
