Lake Myrtle Center for Advanced Dentistry, PL is Hiring a General Dentist Near Auburndale, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and promote oral health. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern dental office with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team.

Duties:
- Perform dental examinations and assessments to determine oral health status
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients as needed
- Perform dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry through continuing education

Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proven experience as a Dentist, preferably in a private practice setting
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with dental office systems and software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients
- Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
