Essential Functions
- Must possess excellent hospitality skills and a strong desire to foster an attitude of Christian hospitality to exceed guest expectations.
- Open and close pro shop following protocol.
- Acknowledge guest upon entry into clubhouse with a warm greeting and friendly smile.
- Register golfers.
- Maintain tee time sheet.
- Coordinate with starters and rangers.
- Answer phones.
- Close out P.O.S. register and balance receipts, cash/checks/credit cards in accordance with accounting procedures.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and report any unsafe activities or conditions immediately to supervisor or the Human Resources department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required.
- Proven computer skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills required.
- High school diploma or GED; and one to three months related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hospitality experience strongly desired.
- Must have demonstrated good communication skills, client relation skills, and a commitment to providing responsive and conscientious customer service.
- Intermediate computer skills necessary
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs, multiple task demands, and work structures.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, emails, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present job-relatedinformation upon request to customers, clients, and employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of customer, clients and employee questions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule formats.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
