Seeking full time Optometry Sales Associate to join our team in a private Optometry practice in Maitland, FL. Looking for a highly motivated individual with a friendly personality and great team player in a fast pace environment, with excellent customer service skills. Associate will be working directly with the patients and must ensure all patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient care and eye examinations.
• Taking patient histories, and assisting patients in frame selection.
• Educating patients on the care and maintenance of lenses.
• Explaining the testing process to patients, preparing them, and administering tests on visual capabilities.
• Keeping records and inventory, and taking notes during examinations.
• Performing minor repairs on broken or damaged glasses.
• Assisting with the creation of lenses and construction of glasses.
• Performing minor maintenance and repairs on examination equipment.
• listening skills to accommodate patients eye wear needs in their everyday life.
• Must have excellent computer and typing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
