Lake Granbury Medical Center's ultrasound technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures while assisting the Radiologist and Staff Physicians with procedures. The Ultrasound technologist is expected to demonstration good communication and problem solving skills. They are a professional role model for personnel. The ultrasound technologist will provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors and employees. The ultrasound technologist will assess risks to patient safety and implement the appropriate precaution. They are expected to comply with appropriate and approved standards relating to: patients, infection control, and environmental issues.

Education: Successful completion of a diagnostic school of ultrasound required upon hire

Licenses and Certifications: Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS is required upon hire (can be obtained at the time of hire)

Shift: Monday through Friday 0800-1630.
