Position - Maintenance & Rentals

Lake Darling Resort is a family-owned, new, luxury resort comprised of over 800’ of pristine lakefront on one of the most premiere lakes in Central Minnesota. When completed, it will accommodate over 200 guests at any given time in beautiful 4 and 5 bedroom lakefront villas. The Clubhouse has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room and event area. There are two private sandy beaches, 3 docking systems, a marina with complementary paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and other beach toys, boat and pontoon rentals, and a central park gathering area.

Job Description:

The Maintenance position reports directly to the General Manager, has an influential role in maintaining the operations and integrity of the Resort to match the core company values, and continuing to build Lake Darling Resort into a luxurious destination with unmatched customer service, accommodations, cleanliness, fun and safety.

The position is responsible for overseeing and performing the day-to-day and preventative maintenance of the grounds, villas, clubhouse, pool area, boats, pontoon and snowmobile rentals. The maintenance team provides guests, with a safe and positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience and the ability to operate lawn mowers, boats, pontoons, snowmobiles and other equipment
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends.
  • Able to complete physical demands required of the job
  • No background related to, or effecting the safety, security or trust of guests, team members and owners
  • Valid driver’s license

Work Schedule:

  • Part time 15-25 and full time up to 40 hours per week, including mix of weekdays and weekends

General Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable of resort policies and procedures and implement them for both guests and team members
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and upkeep duties for the grounds, villas, clubhouse and marina (mowing, plowing, maintaining beaches, garbage and recycling, grounds clean-up, fix issues found by housekeeping or other team members, and more)
  • Operate, maintain, clean and prepare boats, pontoons and snowmobiles for rentals
  • Review safety protocols and rental guidelines with guests prior to rentals
  • Put away all marina related equipment and toys each evening
  • Provide acceptable solutions to issues that may arise
  • Participate in bi-annual deep cleans and routine maintenance requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
