Lake Champlain Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Plattsburgh, NY

We are hiring an additional DENTAL ASSISTANT for our busy dental practice. (On the job training available.)

Experience is a plus but we WILL train if you are motivated and want to learn a new career. You will help with sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms, and other dental assisting tasks.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Assisting dental hygienists and dentist with procedures when necessary.
  • Providing great patient care
  • Recording treatment information in patient records
  • Dental equipment maintenance

Dental Assistant Requirements:

  • Certified dental assistant (Preferred- But will train if motivated)
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistently professional appearance and attitude
  • Able to provide great patient care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
